Wuhan HUST Nano Medicine Co., Ltd. was founded at the beginning of the new millennium focusing on secondary development of medicines and development of new medicines by using independent IP nano technologies and advanced preparation technologies. Meanwhile, the company is also able to provide R&D services for pharmaceuticals in areas of Chinese medicine, chemical medicine, bioengineering medicine, function food, etc.

Backed by Huazhong University of Science and Technology, supported by the High-tech Group of the University and related research institutes, integrating the related resources and research achievements, the company has set up a first class R&D base in China, a whole set of medicine development technology platform, a interdisciplinary medicine R&D team of 50 including professors, doctors and masters, and a network of domestic and international collaboration. The company has applied a dozen of nano medicine invention patents, and has been granted national funding of more than RMB4 million. In 2003, “Hubei Provincial Nano Medical Engineering Research Center” initiated and led by the company together with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, was approved and founded.
